Finished & Started a job

Yesterday was a really nice relaxing day finishing off a decking job we started last week. All we had to do was install some garden lights and finish off screwing a few rows of decking boards down. The customer amd I was are pleased with the look of the decking.

Today I have started a new job in Emsworth. Its a garage roof replacement, with new UPVC windows and a door to be fitted.

Today I have cut out a hole in the brickwork for a new window to be fitted to gain more light into the garage.

There was also a delivery of all the roof timbers, which ment moving the pile wood from the front of the property to the rear.

A day with lots of different jobs

Today was filled with lots of different jobs! This morning I had a meeting in Emsworth with a customer regarding an estimate I'd given for a garage conversion and kitchen extension. We have nearly tied all the lose ends and have finalized a start date.
At the same time on the site visit the gas board turned up for a Gas meter re-position. All went smoothly, I filled in the trench with earth that I had previously dug out.

By lunch time I was away and on to the next job. Just a quick job of replacing 2 existing doors with 2 hardboard flush doors.

On to the next job to measure up a door frame and a pair of doors at Roland castle golf course.

Whilst I was at the golf course I received a call for another small job in Westbourne. Another small job re-building a kitchen base unit and refitting a worktop.

On my journey home I stopped off to replace a sink plug mechanism. It was great to re-visit and see how well the kicthen i'd fitted last August was holding up.

Ordering Materials

Today I have been ordering materials for a garage roof in Emsworth next week. I'm using 2 Sub-contract carpenters (O'SULLIVAN & CHEETAM Carpentry contractors) for this garage roof. I am really pleased to of found them and it will be a pleasure working with them.

This afternoon I'm looking at a walk in shower job in Alverstoke.
